Better than Stanford - but not much

I arranged to treat my sister to a facial for her birthday. We made a day out of it and both received facials. My sister enjoyed her facial, but mine lacked substance. The woman told me I had bad skin (the first time I had ever heard that - I get facials often) and then cleaned my face, gave me a little steam and then used an ultra violet light on my skin for 45 minutes. When the "light therapy" was over, she covered my face in cream and told me I was done. Certainly a let down. I had hoped by selecting the T&C location, it would be a better experience than the one at Stanford, it wasn't much better...Certainly not worth the money paid. I had several gift cards, specifically for La Belle, so I didn't have a choice but to go to one of their locations. Both locations, even though the T&C location was recently renovated, are not "relaxing" and have a doctors office feel to them.

I typically prefer the hotel spas (where there's outside seating you can lounge around in al day, restaurants, and a jacuzzi/sauna). But for the day spa atmosphere, it was pretty nice. Went in for a 45 minute massage, was given a locker, robe and sandals, and was treated to a 10-minute warm stone foot soak before.
The ambiance is nice.. despite being right next to ongoing construction, I didn't hear a thing. The therapist was great, played nice relaxing music. And 45 minutes later, I was refreshed. Ended the massage with a nice warm (they have a couple of them for guests to use).
