At ADDICTED TO YOGA we offer a once a week Introduction to Yoga Class. This complimentary Yoga Class is An introduction to Yoga for those who are new and wish to learn more. This class is for people of all sizes and shapes as well as for those with no yoga experience. It is especially beneficial for those who are shy about joining a class or those who simply want an introduction before beginning a more challenging scheduled yoga class. In this class the component postures of classical sun salutations are taught, as well as most traditional standing poses, gentle twists, forward folds, and quiet restorative postures. Correct breathing, posture, and how yoga can be individualized to help you is also included in the class. When coming to your first Yoga class remember to be open with your mind and your heart, since the first class tends to be the most mentally & physically challenging, meaning you're going to be learning a lot in your first class.
