About Sisters Yoga Clovis
Sisters Yoga is Fresno's first all-female yoga studio. Unlike traditional yoga studios, Sisters focuses on a happier, looser, less traditional form of yoga which includes music that runs from R&B to pop to World. Instructors also incorporate props such as blocks and straps to help students attain correct alignment regardless of their skill level. Classes range from Happy Hour yoga which is more of a "workout", to "Chill Out" which is restorative, gentle yoga. A Pilates mat class, and "Yo-God!" which is Christian-based, free to the community and half of donations go to the Marjaree Mason Center. Sisters Yoga also holds many monthly, dance workout workshops.Location

Restorative Chill Out (purely restorative)
Restorative yoga provides healing for the body and the mind. It is especially useful when you need to eliminate fatigue and stress that result from your daily activities. It is known that restorative yoga can activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which enables automatic control of the body. As such, the regular nervous system will be at rest, and the muscles will become more relaxed. Constant practice of restorative yoga will make your body less vulnerable to stress-related illnesses and help you achieve optimal health. Escape for hour and let us help you de-stress. All levels welcome!*Class size limited to 15. Must check in online for this class. |
