    Birchwood Center houses three beautiful, fully-equipped yoga studios, a quiet sanctuary for healing massage, and a unique boutique — Birchwood Yoga Essentials — with offerings of gifts, yoga props, and much more. At Birchwood we believe that everyone can benefit from the healing practice of yoga and we invite beginners through advanced students to experience our wide range of classes including Power Vinyasa, Yoga 101 for Every Body, Hatha Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Yoga for Kids, Prenatal Yoga, Restorative Yoga, free meditation and more. Our renowned 200- and 500-hour yoga teacher training for aspiring yogis has graduated over one hundred talented yoga instructors since 2002.In addition to Yoga, Birchwood is a center for the healing art of massage therapy. From Swedish to deep tissue, as well as medical massage, our experienced NYS licensed massage therapists will tailor a session to meet each client’s personal concerns, special needs, and health issues. All levels are invited - seniors, special needs, beginners, pre/postnatal, and anyone who wants a restful, meditative class to balance a more vigorous practice. All stages of pregnancy are invited to any of our Gentle Yoga classes, taught by experienced yoga instructors trained in addressing special needs, including pregnancy. Our instructors will help women in all stages of pregnancy to modify postures and adapt the practice to their special circumstances.

Community Yoga - Vinyasa Flow classes are level I/II, mixed level/beginners welcome, taught by Birchwood Center trained and certified yoga instructors. Classes are $7.00 each. Cash or check only please, no credit cards. Unlimited class cards and monthly memberships will also be accepted. Everyone is welcome!

Yoga 101 - For Every Body

Yoga 101 - For Every Body is a beginner level class for those new to yoga as well as experienced practitioners looking for a slow and careful apporach. Yoga 101 - For Every Body teaches the fundamentals of yoga and is open to all ages, shapes and sizes, the flexible and not so flexible; anyone wishing to commit to their own health and well being.
