Ashtanga-style Yoga

This class follows the Ashtanga Series as passed down from Shri K. Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, India. In keeping with tradition, Ashtanga led class begins with the warming practice of Surya Namaskaras A and B, flows into standing postures, continues into seated postures, and concludes with closing/ cooling postures and savasana. Through routine and practice students begin to learn the series, facilitating a home practice if wanted and gain strength, grace, and confidence as they witness the transformation of their bodies and minds.
