This was my first & last time at Oasis. I scheduled a spa day utilizing one of their packages. On my appointment day, they only scheduled me for half of the services in the package. When I asked about the services I was supposed to receive, I was told I had received all services and it was time for me to pay up. Not only did I not receive the services that I paid for, but I was charged for them!!!! Watch out for Oasis - they're good at bait 'n switch!! Save your money and go some where else!!

I read the reviews, but I have nothing but positive things to say. I had a facial-Wow, what a complete facial that left me feeling relaxed. Then we left for a short lunch nearby, came back for the best massage I've ever had. My therapist asked me several times if the pressure was right, if she was focusing on the right areas and if the room and blanket temperature was good. For my facial I loved the hot towels. For the massage I loved the head massage and the hot towel on my legs and feet after she massaged that area. All in all a very relaxing and joyous experience. I will return!!!

I visit this location 2-3 times a month for massages as I have chronic back pain. I LOVE the atmosphere. The water room that you get to use for free before your treatment is great. I have also had a couple facials here and they are the best I have ever had. You do have to be careful which massage therapist you get, some are better than others. If you find one you like, only schedule with them. This is the only place I will go to, I highly recommend giving them a try.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Not a great value for the price. You can easily find a 5 star place that gives you the same treatment for the same cost with 10 times better customer support and service. The service and staff over the years has declined. If you have a great experience it is because it is your first time. Try a second - it is a disaster. Try to discuss your concerns with the owner Brenda and she could care about a customer. The front desk clerk was not friendly and the owner has completely forgot what it is to be in a service environment. There are several other spas in the area like Pampering Place that I would choose instead. Oh, and the pedicure I received was by a girl who had more polish on my feet than on my toes.

The reviews are not very promising and mostly I disagree! The part I agree with is that the massage can be different each time. However, I have never had a bad one, but you do get different people each time. (I have had probably 100 massages in my life and all have been somewhat different - some great and some not as good as others). Anyway, my husband and I love the fact that for a price of a massage (or any treatment), you get to use the hot tub, dry sauna and steam sauna before or after. They say for an hour, but we have stayed several and no one seems to mind. The locker rooms were clean and showers nice. (I dont usually use public restrooms because I am pretty picky and yet I do use these). Hopefully you enjoy this location as much as we do!

I had read all the reviews on Spafinder about this day spa and was very leary about making an appointment there. I told everybody my concerns and they reassured me. The atmosphere was very relaxing and soothing. They were playing nice, soft music during the entire time. The room was nicely set-up. The Esthetician was very knowledgeable and very professional. She was able to answer all my questions. She chose the right creams for my face and after the treatment I was very relaxed and my face felt years younger. I enjoyed the whole experience and can't wait for my next treatment.

I have visited Oasis on multiple occasions for 60 min. massages. Some have been excellent and others have been average. Only one was sub-par. I don't like a deep tissue massage and that's what I got, bruises and all. However it really depends on the masseuse and her listening skills. Very relaxing environment and most staff is friendly. The other patrons make the experience extra fun as they are all very friendly!

I have been to this spa 3 times now. I agree that their customer service at the front has dropped. The staff seemed uninterested in details last time I was there. (Like the fact that there was no toilet paper in the ladies room.) On the other hand, some staff are great.
I have to say, my massages have been well above average.

This place is absolutely HORRIBLE! They have trashy looking workers in there that have no customer service skills, but to top it off they ripped me off! My sister and I had an appointment with them and my sister went into labor 3 weeks early on the day of our appointment, so we could not make it. The owner still proceeded to charge my credit card and told me that we should have given her 7 days notice of the cancelation and that we shouldn't have even scheduled an appointment so close to her due date! How in the heck can predict that they will go into labor almost a month early?! She REFUSED to give us a refund. I will never go to that place or recommend that place to anyone!

I have had facials once a month for years. This was my first and last trip to Oasis Day Spa in Arvada. I was given a gift card for Christmas so I thought I would try it out. I was very disappointed. They did not ask about my skin, what medications I was taking, what I wanted to achieve nothing. I ended up having a terrible allergic reaction to the papaya mask. The person doing the facial left the room, why I have no idea, and when she returned my skin was burned. She did not show me what my skin looked like or even offer to show me in a mirror. I found out when I went downstairs to the locker room. I complained at the front desk and they agreed something went very wrong but did nothing to help not even offering suggestions to correct the damage. They said they would have the owner call me two days later. She called me and proceeded to tell me I was so relaxed I must have forgotten the questions they asked me. I could not believe she thought I was so stupid as to believe that. A warning for people with sensitive skin you will likely get burned like I did. They do not follow up with customers or care about the experience I had. I called the spa I normally go to and they were able to give me suggestions as to how to correct the problem. It has been 4 days and I can tell you that my skin is still burnt but finally healing.

I have been to this Spa multiple times and have never been so disappointed. First of all, hygiene was an issue with my facial. The staff member blew her nose and did not wash her hands, but continued to work on my face. The locker room was unacceptable, trash was overflowing and the water pticher was empty. Then I complained to the owner and it was excuse after excuse and she did not seem concerned about good customer service.

I've been to Oasis three times and haven't been impressed any of those times. The massage staff is average at best - I've had better massages at the local massage school. The price is what convinced me to try another trip to this spa. You get what you pay for. I booked their Eclipse package - massage, manicure and pedicure. Typically they have you use the whirlpool/sauna before your massage but because of their scheudling I was told to use it after on this visit. I was supposed to have 45 minutes between my massage and my next service. The massage was mediocre and part of that was due to the atmosphere. Their new location is very pretty but not very relaxing. I could hear traffic noise the entire massage. To try and cover this they've turned the "relaxation music" way up - not relaxing.
That wouldn't have been enough to make me never return, what happened after my massage was. I was met by a staff member after my massage and told I had no time to use the whirlpool after all. The employee scheduled to do my manicure and pedicure never showed up for work (they knew this when I checked in). If I still wanted my manicure and pedicure, I had no choice but to skip the whirlpool and do it right then. I was then told to WAIT in the sitting area until someone came to get me. As all of the nail tecnicians were busy I told the receptionist I was going to use the whirlpool instead of just sitting and waiting. I told her I only needed 10 minutes and she promised to send someone up to get me. 25 minutes later they finally came to get me. As a result my manicure and pedicure were rushed and not relaxing. The pedicure was decent but the manicure was not worth the time or the money. The nail technician spent more time watching the clock than watching what she was doing. I ended up removing the polish when I got home and reshaping my nails.
The staff made no effort to compensate me for their staffing problems. I was given a lame apology and charged full price for subpar service.

THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME TO VISIT A SPA. I FELT THAT SINCE I HAD A GIFT CERTIFICATE, THE SPA EMPLOYEES WERE NOT INTERESTED IN ME, THEY DID NOT EXPLAIN TO A NEW PERSON THE FACILITY NOR THE PRCEDURES. I KNOW THAT THIS SPA IS MOVING TO A NEW LARGER LOCATION AND I PLAN ON VISITING THEM AGAIN, I'M HOPING THAT MY NEXT EXPERIENCE WILL BE BETTER. I CONSIDERED POSSIBILITIES OF THE SPA AND EMPLOYEES AND IT MAY HAVE BEEN OUT OF THEIR CONTROL BEFORE. I FEEL THAT IT IS WORTH GIVING A PERSON OR LOCATION ANOTHER TRY IN ALL FAIRNESS.
