About Pilates Tonic

Originally developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates as a rehabilitation method, the popularity of this core-strengthening and spine-aligning workout has since spread around the world like wildfire. The practice, often called the Pilates method, is meant to improve mental and physical wellbeing, increase flexibility, and strengthen muscles through a series of controlled movements and breathing that engage both the body and mind. Different studios offer a variety of classes, and we’re excited to be partnering with this Pilates studio. Pilates 101
The Pilates 101 session allows us to know and serve you better. At Pilates Tonic we focus on the Pilates Method as it applies to the individual. We work with you to address your individual needs, strengths and goals. It is important for us to ensure that each individual understands the key elements of the Pilates Method, while in turn we understand each individual’s specific needs and goals. When this groundwork is secure, we can work together to apply the Pilates exercises for maximum benefit. |
