INTRODUCTORY class

Start your Pilates program with this introductory class! Come about 5-10 minutes early to fill out a bit of paperwork. It's a small class, and your instructor will start you off with a postural assessment, then guide you through our basic workout. He or she will familiarize you with the reformer equipment, and the hour-long workout will prepare you for our reformer classes. After this introductory class you'll want to take at least three Basic reformer classes before graduating to regular reformer classes. Relax and have fun! Come to class wearing workout/yoga clothing (form-fitting is better), and you can wear socks or go bare-footed. We don't have lockers so bring minimal "stuff" to place under the bench in the waiting area. We have one bathroom, so you may change clothes there if you wish. If you have any questions, please call us 949-888-1227. Otherwise, we look forward to meeting you soon!

You’ll start each workout with a couple of “rolldowns” (gentle toe-touch rolls) and then do a few mat exercises to get the core muscles warmed up. Then follow our workout on the reformer starting with intense leg exercises, then to specific exercises targeting each body part. The last part of the workout is another short leg workout along with back and side exercises on the reformer. End with a couple “rolldowns” . You'll leave feeling energetic and stress-free!

BASIC reformer class

After you've taken your introductory class, you'll want to take at least three BASIC reformer classes. This class is a little slower-paced and is more of a "deepening" class. Clients who have been with us for a while are welcome to come to the BASIC class; it's a good opportunity to get back to basics and work on your form and deepening techniques. If you are a new client and have had a lot of reformer classes before, after your introductory class, we ask that you attend at least one BASIC class, so that you can be familiarized with our class structure before you start with the regular reformer classes.
