HIIT High Intensity Interval Training
Interval Training workouts alternate short, intense periods of anaerobic bursts with periods of recovery. The intensity of the work is equivalent to the effort expended. We will increase our cardio and aerobic base by pushing ourselves and knowing that everyone's level of fitness is different, we won't measure ourselves against one another, but will try to push for our own personal best. This class will involve plyometrics (jumping), peripheral-arterial combinations (rotating between upper and lower body) emphasizing body-weight training as opposed to traditional weight training. This is a workout that you can take any where. |
