Kids Yoga 6-10 "Grounded Kids"

This class for the young yogi will use elements of play and fun all the while helping the child to experience both the physical and emotional benefits of yoga. We begin with a few minutes of quiet tuning in, followed by a practice of grounded yoga! Grounded poses are traditional yoga poses enhanced by tapping into what all kids relate to in their lives. Students will learn the benefits of each pose and how to bring yoga into their everyday lives. Warm Hip Opening - childcare available

This challenging but fun class is focused on building strength and flexibility in the low back and hips. Although a basic knowledge of yoga is helpful, it's not required. In each class a unique sequence of asanas are blended in an effort to reach toward the full expression of more intricate postures such as pigeon or eka pada sirsasana (one leg behind the head). Restorative yoga is an experience in relaxation, awareness, and stillness. Hot Pilates is mat Pilates performed in a room heated to 95 degrees and 40% humidity. The addition of the heat to traditional Pilates, enhances detoxification, flexibility and concentration. Through targeted exercises, Mat Pilates strengthens and tones all of body's core muscles. Pilates challenges the student to focus determination on these muscle groups and the result, through practice, is tremendous strength. The drop in rate for community classes is donation based. The suggested donation is $8 but any amount is accepted. An instructor led beginner/intermediate level approach to the primary series of Ashtanga yoga. Prana Yoga Flow is a sweaty, challenging vinyasa flow yoga class set to up tempo music. I've been going for close to two months now. I absolutely love it! The staff are wonderful, the aesthetics is calming and lovely. I'm someone that NEVER exercises, but I go to Ember 6-10x a week!
