Yoga Play Date

Our "Yoga Play Date" class is crafted to cater specifically to new parents. Yoga Playdate is a creative, safe, fun and accessible path back to yoga for moms --and Dads too-- to practice without having to deal with the challenge of finding alternate childcare to attend a studio class. (After all, play-dates ought to be for parents!) Babies and toddlers can play/practice right next to or with their parents. While caregivers are never more than an arm''s length (or a "warrior pose") away to attend to their child''s needs. The class -- primarily vinyasa -- will include a special emphasis on reawakening core strength; as well as encourage the special parent-child bond through breath work and relaxation. Come to connect with yourself, your child and community; and be finished in time to pick up your morning preschooler.

Yoga for Athletes

This class is geared toward athletes, outdoor enthusiast, and yoga regulars looking to enhance their physical performance. Sports & Athletics require repetitive movement, generally in a limited range of motion. Often the end result is a body that is over worked and simultaneously under utilized, therefore susceptible to injury. Yoga for Athletes will focus on re-aligning the body from over use and injuries through longer held postures with plenty of variations to suit your specific needs. This class will reset muscle length, improve body awareness and core strength, and focus the mind. If you've labeled yourself "too tight for yoga" this class is for you.
