50 minutes of Indoor Cycling/Spinning with warm-up and cool-down phases. High energy instruction and music; explore Flats, hills and intervals to challenge the upper level cyclists as well as beginner cues to support the newer participant. Standing climbs are added but not required. Come 5 minutes early to set up bike and ask questions. Light stretching is built into class time. Wear firm soled shoes and light clothing. Bring water bottle and a small towel is handy. |

Group Reformer (Level 1-2)
Enjoy a dynamic, energetic & flowing group class with 3-5 students with Matwork, MvE Chair, Reformers & Towers. You will experience a full session of classical exercises to suit your body's level on studio Apparatus. Focus & attention to detail will enhance your fitness program, if you've never tried a Reformer session but have Mat experience...see how this class will create a better powerhouse connection! Our teachers have creative backgrounds in many different wellness modalities, we allow them to expand your class to your benefit! Assumed knowledge of basic Mat Pilates and Fundamentals required. Yoga inspired cool-downs and restorative postures included.Note: Classes with Arlene are not for beginners, 2+ years experience required. Classes with Maggie will be limited to 3 students at the $35 rate (Level 1, beginners) |

Banyan Signature (FitBall, Pilates & Yoga)
A Level 2 class w/ Owner, Heather McGill (Advanced Beginner) Inspired by the foundations of Classical Pilates Mat, we fuse high energy techniques from Dance, Calisthenics & Yoga. Safely instructed using your entire body, firm, tighten and tone without adding bulky, stiff muscles. Improve balance, posture and body awareness using a small, inflatable ball and light weights or bands. Classes will incorporate the larger Physio Ball with bigger movements that simulate Reformer training...it's a class worth getting to, 55 minutes and out the door! Each class will feel different to keep you challenged and surprising those muscles. Pilates Mat helpful, lower back or neck issues should be discussed prior to your first class. |

MVe Chair, Mat & Yoga Flow (Inter. Level)
Intermediate Pilates on the Apparatus manufactured by Peak Pilates called the MvE Chair, it has a resistance pedal and settings to challenge you throughout the class. You will sit, stand, kneel, and bring your body into new positions on this challenging apparatus. Not for beginners, must have good balance and control of resistance training. Athletes get ready for a workout like never before...control, lengthen and stretch your muscles. Set to music and taught modifications for beginners to Chair but not to Pilates or Exercise. Pilates Matwork will be included and other small props for balancing the strengths and weaknesses! Barre inspired transitions. |

Not a class to breeze through, Concentration, Control and Consistency play important roles here...focus on self-imposed contractions and working from your centerline. An efficient and effective sequential class that sprinkles in needed Fundementals and Beg/Intermediate exercises. Work at your Level and enjoy movement and full body conditioning...work towards Flow and Precision, utilizing the Pilates Breathing, lateral ribcage breathing techniques. Please use props to support your head and neck if you are new to this class and discuss any issues with the teacher prior to class. |

Vinyasa/YogaFlow Mix
This Class will be held during studio hours that are more "energetic" with other teachers & clients on equipment. Dee will lead you through an active ending to find focus, relaxation, & renewal. VinYasa/Flow builds strength and flexibility...move through Sun Salutations and standing postures, working to the mat for supine and lateral work. Easy to follow, modifications will be added. Come with a beginners mind and just experience a non-competitive way to enhance your fitness program.Pre-requisites: Must be able to get on and off the floor safely and hold a plank position for at least 5 seconds. Please address any concerns 10 minutes prior to attending for your best experience in class. |
