The practice of Yin yoga is slow, steady and sometimes stationary using poses designed for longer holds. The yin practice encourages a sense of core softness and mental surrender. Level I/II Pilates Equipment

The Foundations Workshop is REQUIRED before taking equipment classes (and highly recommended for all classes to). This class will consist of basic movements on the pilates equipment to work the whole body. Learn about the principles and fundamentals of pilates and how we teach to make sure you are doing things correctly to get great results. Many people stay at this level for a long time as it's a great workout with simple, effective exercises. Also, great for those who need modifications.

This class is for experienced students only. Recommendations of at least a year experience are suggested. Instructor approval needed. YinYasa Yoga

The practice of Yin yoga is slow, steady and sometimes stationary using poses designed for longer holds. The yin practice encourages a sense of core softness and mental surrender. Hatha (Yang) yoga is physically active, using shorter holds and effort to maintain core control and strength. This class uses both styles, the first half being more yang and the second settles into the yin style of yoga practice.
