Replenish your physical, emotional, and spiritual reserves with a restorative practice and Yoga Nidra, “yogic sleep.” In Yoga Nidra, you will experience a deep meditative state said to be five times more restorative than sleep. Excellent Addition to DC Yoga Scene

I've tried a lot of yoga studios in DC and haven't found any that I like as much as my home studio, Down Dog Yoga, until this studio opened up. It will be a place that I go regularly instead of just trying it with the new student special and not being enticed to go back. Faith Hunter has a great thing going! The flow classes are rigorous but not overwhelming, and there are options for more relaxed or more advanced varieties (restorative/boom shiva). The space is lovely, with bright colors and a clean paneled floor. The instructors and the clientele are positive and welcoming. Embrace is located between Columbia Heights and Adams Morgan, making it convenient to get to by metro or bus. The one drawback is that there is no separate entryway/foyer to check in, so arriving late is disruptive to the class - people need to buzz in downstairs and walk through the studio to sign in. But this is a small downside to an excellent studio in general, and practicing with Faith herself is really a treat!
