Flying Yoga Basics

It's all about connection.Learn to fly with FLYoga teachers Marty Tribble & John Arms.You'll earn your flying wings safely and effectively in this beginner's therapeutic flying yoga practice. Learn a simple flow of six flying yoga postures in an organized, safe and supportive manner. (base/fly Folded Leaf, Happy Twist, Super Yogi, Walnut and Bird). This gentle flow fuses together modalities of bodywork, gravitational traction, partner yoga asana, meditation, pranayama, and energetics. Therapeutic flying yoga depends more on physics than muscular strength, however a steady yoga practice will bring more ease to the learning process. You don't need to practice yoga or know acrobatics, just have a desire to learn something new and PLAY! Jnana Yoga Bookclub

Jnana, meaning wisdom or discernment, is the yoga of true knowledge. Jnana yoga looks into who we are and what we are experiencing. The Jnana Yoga Bookclub will begin with the Yoga Sutras of Pantanjali for the first few months and then continue with other sacred texts, allowing for an organic experience of study and discussion as a means to understanding self and life better. We will meet the last Sunday of every month. Ready to expand on your basic flying skills? LEARN TO BACK FLY!
