Originally developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates as a rehabilitation method, the popularity of this core-strengthening and spine-aligning workout has since spread around the world like wildfire. The practice, often called the Pilates method, is meant to improve mental and physical wellbeing, increase flexibility, and strengthen muscles through a series of controlled movements and breathing that engage both the body and mind. Jumpboard & Sculpt

This class provides an intense cardio workout and total body sculpting, alternating between core work, jumpboard, arm and back work, and stretch. The jumpboard is an attachment to the Reformer that incorporates jumping exercises in a supine position. It’s like trampoline rebounding on your back! Heavy and light springs challenge you through a series of footwork exercises and powerful leg, hip and core movements that will get your heart pumping. You will also use hand weights, fitballs, magic circles, and bands to sculpt and condition on and off the Reformer. This class requires Pilates equipment experience, and is not suitable for those with injuries.
