Pilates with Props combines the basic mat principles of centering, breathing, balance, awareness and alignment with the use of Pilates props including Orbits, Bosu balls, arc barrels, foam rollers, circles, small balls, bands and hand weights. Props will be used to assist or challenge the individual while doing matwork. Individuals must be able to get up and down from the floor independently. A basic understanding of Pilates principles is helpful. |

A fusion of strenthening, balance and Pilates with the spring resistance of the MVE chair. It is strongly recommended to have a basic understanding of Pilates and you must have a good sense of balance and general conditioning to be able to sit on the chair and move in and out of postitions. You also must be able to pivot the 30 pound chair. This is a fun, challenging workout. |
