  Soukya International Holistic Health Centre is situated on 30 abundantly landscaped acres in the southern Indian countryside east of Bangalore, less than half an hour from the airport. The Centre, which consists of nine major structures, including residential buildings, integrates a full range of mind, body, and spirit therapies as well as the pampering amenities of a luxury spa.

  Soukya patients may participate in either wellness or medical programs. Medical programs are designed according to the patient's needs as determined by the holistic doctor, with whom patients have an initial, in-depth examination and consultation. Special medical programs include hypertension, diabetes, women's health, and substance abuse. Wellness programs are formulated to enhance both quality and quantity of life and include special distress, stress management, and Ayurvedic programs. Among the various types of holistic medicine practiced at Soukya are homeopathy, Ayurveda, naturopathy, allopathy, Siddha, Tibetan medicine, and Unani.

  Services and therapies available at Soukya are designed by Medical Director Dr. Isaac Mathai and are derived from many different complementary and alternative modalities. Soukya's variety of medical massages includes customized Ayurvedic weight-loss massage, which incorporates warm oils and special powders meant to target subcutaneous fat. In addition, Soukya's yoga and meditation hall can accommodate 32 people and features rooms for one-on-one yoga instruction. Soukya's yoga sessions are supervised by a physician and designed for maximum therapeutic value. Dr. Mathai and his staff specialize in the holistic treatment of serious illnesses.

Isaac Mathai, M.D.

Soukya's Chairman and Managing/Medical Director Dr. Isaac Mathai is a homeopathic doctor and world-renowned holistic physician who has treated patients from over 35 countries. He studied Chinese pulse diagnosis and acupuncture at the W.H.O. Institute in Nanjing, China. He participated in the Mind-Body Medicine training program at Harvard Medical School. He is presently a visiting holistic health consultant at several clinics worldwide.

Suja Isaac, M.Sc., M. Phil (Foods & Nutrition) is Soukya's executive director. Having taught nutrition at the Madras and Bangalore University Colleges, Suja also heads the food and nutrition department at Soukya.

Other full-time, on-site staff members are highly trained in naturopathy, yogic sciences, and Ayurvedic sciences.

Der Vorsitzende und Geschäftsführer bzw. medizinische Direktor von Soukya, Dr. Isaac Mathai, ist Homöopath und ein weltweit bekannter holistischer Arzt, der bereits Menschen aus 35 Ländern behandelt hat. Am WHO-Institut im chinesischen Nanjing studierte er chinesische Pulsdiagnostik und Akupunktur. Er hat am Schulungsprogramm für Körper-Geist-Medizin an der Harvard Medical School teilgenommen. Derzeit arbeitet er an mehreren Krankenhäusern weltweit als Gastberater für holistische Gesundheit.

Suja Isaac (M.Sc., M. Phil für Lebensmittel und Ernährung) ist Executive Director bei Soukya. Nach seiner Stelle als Dozent für Ernährung an den University Colleges von Madras und Bangalore leitet Suja Isaac nun auch die Nahrungs- und Ernährungsabteilung bei Soukya.

Die anderen Mitarbeiter, die Vollzeit vor Ort vertreten sind, haben hoch qualifizierte Ausbildungen in Naturheilkunde oder Yoga- und Ayurveda-Wissenschaften.

Président, directeur général et directeur médical de Soukya, le docteur Isaac Mathai est un médecin homéopathe et un médecin holistique réputé dans le monde entier qui soigne des patients de plus de 35 pays. Ayant enseigné la nutrition à l'Université de Madras et à celle de Bangalore, Suja dirige aussi le service nourriture et nutrition de Soukya.
