The Good Vibration is a yoga playground located just off I-4 in Sanford, Florida, north of Orlando in The Fountains Marketplace. We’re a playful collision of spaces – a fusion of yoga, meditation, shop, connection and community. Adjustments & Assisting
In many yoga classes, teachers don’t have time to explain each specific muscle group being used and correct alignment for the poses, especially in those fast-paced flow classes. The first portionof this workshop will focus on correct alignment and how to self-adjust in each pose. The majority ofthe workshop will then concentrate on how to assist in yoga poses. There will be partner assists (no need to bring a partner) and individual assists. This is a student and teacher-friendly workshop, so if you don’t know the names of poses and want to strengthen your knowledge for your own practice, you will walk away with a great amount of useful information. We will work in pairs to practice the assists, so that you'll feel comfortable using the assists on fellow yogis, family members and/or students. Mat Pilates
Core control! Mat Pilates trains the abdominals and back muscles to give you a stronger, tighter, more centered core. You will also get tone in the arms, legs, and glutes. The exercises are designed to build strength and tone without building bulk. Having a strong center will allow any activity you do outside of Pilates to be controlled, balanced, and less prone to injury. This class is for all levels. The exercises are typically performed barefoot on a mat. It is a great compliment to yoga! |

T.G.I.F. Flow
This is a fun class and great way to end your work week and melt into the weekend. After centering, you will spend the first part of class flowing through simple sequences in order to warm up the body and get the heart pumping and muscles working. The second part of class focuses on stretching and is more yin-like, with longer time spent in each seated posture. Katie always ends class with a massage and sweet savasana. You’ll leave the studio rejuvenated and relaxed. All levels. |
