This spa is true find. It is a very relaxing and tranquil place. It's always calming as soon as I walk in the front door. The staff is very knowledgeable and skilled. They really care about their clients. I will only go to this spa for massages, facials and brow wax! Highly Recommend!

From a Former Brazilain Waxing Virgin
I am a woman who is fastly approaching 40. I have never had a bikini wax , let alone a Brazilian. I was raised in a strict Catholic family where modesty was a bit extreme. My philosphy about bikini waxing was, "if you do not have a medical degree, or are not legally married to me, you have no busines being down there." After reading a book at a friend's 40th birthday, titled, "How Not to Act Old", I discovered that women who do not get their bikini line waxed are OLD. That did it. I was going to get a waxing, and I was going to get a full-fledged Brazilian. I did some research online and found that B Roman had the best reviews. The day of my wax, I was a nervous wreck. My service was performed by Betty, who, I later discovered, is the owner. She immediately sensed my anxiety about the process and talked with me at length about what exactly she would do, the level of pain with the first waxing experience, how to schedule appointments so that future waxings would not be painful, and assured me that she does about 3-4 Brazilian waxings a day for women of all ages. This was all before I took off my clothes. Throughout the process we chatted about things completely unrelated to the service she was perfoming. Her professional manner immediately erased the self-conscious feelings I was experiencing, and although the experience was painful, I was very pleased with the results. I have since returned twice and always book my next appointment before I leave the office. The atmosphere is beautiful, the front desk staff friendly, and Betty is the upmost professional. I would highly recommend this spa to any of my "young" friends.

I scheduled two waxing services during the weekday. Upon my arrival, the spa manager was pleasant and informative. I completed a waxing history and skin analysis form. My specialist gathered me yet failed to introduce herself. I discovered later that she was the owner, Betty. During my treatments, she handled my face rough. Her hands were cold. It seem that she did not want to do my wax services. Maybe she did not wake up on the right side of the bed as well. When she discuss possible treatment options for my skin, she failed to look directly at me. She failed to discuss my waxing history form or discuss the products she utilizes for waxing services. Her attitude was rude and unpleasant. Spa services demand excellent service with pleasant and joyful attitude. It seems that this location and the other location failed in customer service. I am curious if the business owners really wants to serve everyone in the community. If not, exit the American business market.

I saved approximately $10 a week (didn't eat lunch out whenever I could) so that I could go to this spa near my home. I was desperately in need of a massage; I work one full-time and one part-time job. They asked me if I wanted anything to drink when I arrived and I asked for ice water. They only had tap. No big deal. I had a massage and the entire 60 minutes, the staff talked--about the products I needed to buy when I left that day and that I needed to come back and make sure to make an appt that same day for that same staff. I felt as if a used car salesman had gotten into the persona of a spa staff! And despite all this, I tipped 23%. I did share this information with another staff and the owner of the spa called me (he looked up my mobile # from the forms I completed) and told me I should never have disparaged their staff nor ever speak to anyone of what happened at the spa (never denied this practice of being aggressive during a spa treatment). He said I never should have told the staff (turned out it was his daughter) that I was disappointed. He then asked me why I tipped his staff and I said that I wondered myself--it was foolish on my part, but I guess I thought that I had to give her something for her time because she had complained about money and her boss throughout the treatment. I hope no one ever experiences what I did at B Roman.
