The Rocket is an amazing, playful and unique sequence of postures created by Larry Schultz, founder of It’s Yoga, San Francisco. The Rocket features poses from the first and second series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and includes a mild mix of arm balances and inversions. Though NOT RECOMMENDED FOR VERY BEGINNERS, this class is great for all levels, as modifications are given for more challenging postures. Be ready to sweat, smile and feel rejuvenated! Mysore

"Mysore Style" is the traditional method of practicing Ashtanga yoga. Students learn the traditional sequence of asanas (postures) on an individual basis, yet in a group setting. The practice/class remains silent with soft spoken one on one individual instruction. The asanas are taught in a progressive system, where each builds strength and stamina, developing the student for the next asana. This is a very powerful and safe way of learning Ashtanga Yoga. The students then memorize the sequence, which becomes their personal practice. (Please contact Laura at lburt1@me.com if you are interested about attending a Mysore class. You must have instructor permission to attend this class.)
