Unnata Aerial Yoga uses a soft fabric hammock that supports up to a 1000 pound to suspend practitioners while they do Yoga poses. The Yoga hammock is hung close to the floor so that students can use the prop to either partially or fully support the weight of the body. Many Aerial Yoga postures are designed to help the student better understand the purpose of traditional Yoga postures. Some Aerial Yoga postures are designed to help students achieve advanced traditional Yoga postures.

I absolutely have fallen in love with aerial yoga. Well, the gentle version that is on Sunday nights. It is so nice to stretch and twist and relax in those lovely hammocks. I have yet to try the "real" aerial classes, but I am sure they are great too.
