Detox Yoga Flow
We are exposed to toxins every day—through the food we eat, the air we breathe, the products we use and more; even our emotions and thoughts, when negative or repressed, can be as unhealthy as a poor diet or inactive lifestyle.Practiced for centuries in ayurvedic and Chinese medicine systems and other cultures, detoxification is about stimulating, cleansing, and nourishing the body from the inside out. Detox Flow Yoga gives students familiar with the standard poses of vinyasa flow yoga a mind-body-spirit immersion that explores: Meditations and reflections for releasing stagnant mental patterns, Sun salutations and other effective poses—unique movement combinations that stimulate the circulatory and lymphatic systems and help clear out toxins, and guided instruction for building your practice. We detoxify so that we may show up more fully, and with more vitality, in each moment of each day. Sunday detox yoga flow will help boost prana (life / energy force) and rid your |

Yin Yang Yoga
Yin/Yang Yoga begins slowly, on the floor, accessing the pranic energy at the hips, pelvis and base of the spine. Through pranayama (breath) and asana (posture), we begin accessing the kundalini, or dynamic upward impulse, to remove energetic blocks that impede its flow. The yin approach is opposite of yang; rather than using muscular tension to go further, we first release deeply, using gentle but firm compression of the joints, relaxing whatever holds us back. In Yin Yoga, postures are often supported (using props like blocks and blankets to cradle the body) and held for longer periods of time. The long holds target the connective tissue, thus stimulating joint lubrication and bone density, and increasing the resting length of muscle spindles. After the lower body is opened, we proceed to a flow, which may include salutations and standing asanas. Finally, we return back down to the floor to revisit the yin body and absorb the centered stillness of yoga. All levels welcome. |

Hot Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga has the same goals and objectives as any other school of yoga; however, it directs the stimulation beyond the muscular ("yang") tissues, and instead targets the connective ("yin") tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice. Suitable for almost all levels of students, Yin Yoga is a perfect compliment to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Cycle + Yoga
From the Saddle to the Mat…35 minutes of spin followed by 35 minutes of yoga. Cycling primes the muscles for stretching, a blend that makes sense. It’s like getting two workouts in one hour. After rocking to cycling jams, downshifting into yoga mode feels just right, and the poses lengthen all those places you get tight cycling. Standing poses like warrior one and two, along with the side angle pose, open the hips, often overworked in biking. Seated twist and pigeon poses stretch out the glutes and piriformis, which helps keep the lower back and knees happy after time in the saddle. Designed for all Yoga levels and all level riders. Slow Vin/ Yin
This practice is 1/2 Vinyasa, 1/2 Yin yoga and will be in a warm room. It will begin with a slower paced, meditative, Vinyasa flow. In the Vinyasa sequences (the yang aspect or solar) you will direct your focus inward taking your time to feel yourself internally aligning and "marinating" in the release of prana. Through slower, mindful, fluid movements you begin releasing rigidity and reconnecting to your own innate fluidity. As we delve into a deeper level of awareness we will take our practice down to the floor for a yin practice, (the lunar aspect) targeting the connective tissue of the hip, pelvis and lower spine. We will also work on opening and releasing tension in the shoulders. By balancing the solar and the lunar - strength and receptivity - you will find clarity, wholeness and deep peace. Some yoga experience recommended. |

The perfect hybrid for your day. |

Suitable for almost all levels of students, Yin Yoga is a perfect compliment to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Ashtanga
Ashtanga yoga taught in the tradition of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois is a continuous sequence of postures that are linked to one another through the synchronization of the breath. It is a deep and vigorous ancient practice that realigns the body, steadies the mind, calms the nervous system, builds strength and engenders a sense of inner peace. Students will practice Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskara), standing postures, and the initial seated postures of the Primary Series (the first of 6 series). This series is an advanced, and dynamic physical practice that encourages students to deepen their current yoga practice. Alignment and geometry of the poses will be explored so that students can feel more connected to the poses. The instructors intention is to introduce the practice of Ashtanga yoga in a safe, comprehensive, and fun format, therefore an established vinyasa practice is necessary for this class. |

Lunar Vinyasa
Lunar Vinyasa is a flowing, vinyasa-style class loosely based on Lunar Salutations, or Chandra Namaskar. The lunar salutations incorporate traditional yoga poses, often flow in a lateral direction, and frequently explore fluidity within the poses. A deeply grounding practice, Lunar Vinyasa draws on creative movement and is a great compliment, or alternative to, a sun-salutation based vinyasa because it places fewer demands on wrists and shoulders. The class will typically end with grounding, restorative poses. |

Slow Burn
This slower paced, yet challenging, slow flow practice will help to build strength, stamina and flexibility. The slow flow will emphasize moving from the core using slow progressive, vinyasa sequences with longer holding standing and core postures. It is in the intensity of slowing down that we create the "burn" making us strong from the inside - out, cultivating outer strength from our deeper inner strength . As we "play our edges" both mentally and physically we will naturally become more focused and embodied. This practice will include warming and meditative Surya Namaskars (sun salutations) A and B; the "fire" of the practice: a slow, mindful practice encouraging the most "juice" out of every pose. We will also explore hip openers, twists, backbends and inversions. The room will be moderately heated. Yoga experience is recommended. |

Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. |

Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. All levels welcome. |

The perfect hybrid for your day. |

Yin Yoga
Suitable for almost all levels of students, Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. All levels welcome. 60 minutes. |
