This 4-class series provides you with the tools you need to be safe and have fun in your yoga practice. You must purchase the “into class package” to participate in the into series. You cannot drop in the middle of the series if you have no prior experience. Intro series is a 4 class course that meets every Monday at 7:30pm for one month. Just like a university class course in mathematics, every class builds on the knowledge of the previous class. Thus unless you have studied flow yoga before, it could be confusing to start in the middle of the course work. We break down the sequence and philosophy step by step so that you not only understand the basics of yoga, but you also understand the reasoning for the practice and how to modify it for your body. This class is similar in intensity to an "All Levels Class". The only difference being is the choreography. Instead of the usual Ashtanga, Baptiste structure that is somewhat well predicted, this class is all creative, all different every time. We use non-stop music and spontaneity, You will be in the creative hands of the teacher. This may not be the class for first time yogis, but once you've taken a few classes of "all levels" or "intro", come and join us!
