Prana (vital life force) yama (control of) is the regulation of the breath. It is a method which harmonizes the body/mind. During this session, we will begin with a guided relaxation and then explore various forms of pranayama such as Ujjayi (ocean sounding breath), Dirgha (three part breath), Nadi Shodhana (comfortable, alternate nostril breath), Anuloma Viloma (alternate nostril breath), Kapalabhati (skull shining breath), Bhastrika (bellows breath), Sitali (cooling breath) and Sitkari (sound producing breath). Yin Aerial Yoga Stretch is an aerial yoga class suitable for almost all levels of students, though Intro to Aerial Yoga is recommended before taking this class. Hatha Bliss

An all level yoga class taught with a non-dogmatic spiritual energy. Beginning with an inward, personal intention-based centering and meditation, we will use many forms of yogic breathing to deepen our connection with our inner spirit. Throughout the practice, we'll engage physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually based on each individuals' level of comfort. We'll end with an extended savasana and closing meditation.

Restorative Aerial Yoga

In this Restorative Class you will use a soft fabric hammock that supports up to a 1000 pound to move through a series of restorative poses that will rejuvenate and deeply relax your nervous system. The hammock will be hung close to the floor so that students can use the prop to either partially or fully support the weight of the body. The support of the fabric will allow you to move into postures that might otherwise be unavailable to your body type. Come and say bye to the winter blues and welcome the lovely spring with a long savasana as you are cocooned in our hammock! You may sign up online or call to register. Intro to Aerial Yoga

This class is required before moving on to more advanced classes. This fun class will help you establish a solid foundation in this unique system. It is designed to give you a secure and detailed understanding of Aerial Yoga fundamentals while enjoying a new perspective on the world! Aerial Yoga uses a soft fabric hammock that supports up to a 1000 pound to suspend practitioners while they do Yoga poses. The Yoga hammock is hung close to the floor so that students can use the prop to either partially or fully support the weight of the body. Many Aerial postures are designed to help the student create more space in the body, and a flow thru traditional Yoga postures. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
