A Pampering Knead... Therapeutic Spa

A Hidden Gem. I visit this place today and was just very happy with the service. I have had French clay wrap, facial mask and massage - all done on professional level Yasmen G. is amazing, her hands gentle, yet firm when she kneads your muscles(I love it this way) Variety of services are quite extensive for such a small place and promise delight that is definitely delivered, price is worth of the service you are getting. I call it "Hidden" gem because it is downstairs and at first was tricky to find. I love they wall applications, big poppies that sure bring a nice feelings of joy and spring. I will definitely go back, recommend to a family and friends and buy gift certificates for my daughter. PS. To a customer who posted here about groupon being the reason of bad service is not correct. I also had a groupon and was treated wonderfully. What comes to making an appointment I LOVE they online scheduling application. I can do it any time that is convenient to me looking at my schedule, which is saving my times and their. As I understand they don't have a receptionist and nor picking up phone when with client - understandable. Be respectful to others and you will get the same in return.

I visited A Pampering Knead this morning after buying a Groupon for a spa package. It included a foot scrub with reflexology, a facial and a massage. I have to say that I had the best massage of my life here by Yasmin. She worked all my problem areas and used stretches to really get the knots out. The foot scrub, reflexology and facial were a real bonus. I felt so relaxed and pampered after the 75 min treatment. I'll definitely be visiting this place again, even though it is a 45 min drive. It is well worth it!!!

I had a Groupon for a 90 minute scrub. The spa is tiny but the therapist was great. I really enjoyed my massage. Just the right amount of pressure. The scrub was good too. Since they didn't have a shower in the room it took a long time for her to wash off all the scrub with many towels but she got the job done. I will be coming back for the massage!

Cecilia really went above and beyond. She was not only so sweet but also very attentive and listened to any requests I made. I have bad knots in my back and she made sure to pay extra attention to them. I will definitely come back and request for her again.

I had the pleasure of getting a massage today from the owner, Vissia - she really did an incredible job. The spa itself is very cozy and clean. I agree with the other reviewer; the warm table was certainly a treat. Vissia did a great job at making me feel comfortable and worked extra-hard to relieve me of the horrible knots in my neck and upper back. (BTW I'm really picky about massages - as I have had many.) I highly recommend A Pampering Knead to anyone looking for a nice, cozy, economical place to get a massage. I will be back :)

WOW!. What an experience A Pampering Knead was. I had the best massage. I usually go to NYC but after receiving a Gift Certificate from my husband I got my first service here. From the friendly staff, the great massage therapist and wonderful products they use it was the best spa experience. I highly reccommend this spa for anyone is looking for relaxation.

I'll start by saying that by far that was the Best massage I have ever had. I'm in the travel industry and I have traveled world wide and have had massages in the top spas and resorts. Vecia is an amazing therapist. She hit on all the right spots without me having to say a word. I'm so looking forward to going back!! See you soon.

After a miss-communication on the appointment (I thought at 3:30 actually at 3) which can be frustrating for both parties, all I received was ATTITUDE AND RUDENESS. I am willing to waste money I spend on a deal to NOT COME BACK to this place EVER! Because apparently it is too much to ask to be polite to a CUSTOMER on scheduling issues. Especially, when I was the one who called the day before to confirm the appointment. I guess they don't really need customers because after being late I didn't even receive any phone calls to check.

These massages are the best in the area. The rooms are cozy, quiet, peaceful and have warm tables (which is a real treat!!)..... so relaxing! Vissia, the owner, is excellent and most accommodating.

Vessia, the owner is a very personable massage therapist . She took great care to massage and focus on my areas with most pain/knots. She was (at the time) the sole employee, so she works mainly based on appointments. Voicemail and emails are the more likely method of getting in touch with Pampering Knead, but this is OK. Now there are a few other massage therapists, and the one that I had was very "business-oriented", which was a little off-putting. I suppose that was ok since I was pretty exhausted that day anyway... There are two massage rooms, that are rather small, but serve its purpose. The place itself is awkardly located, which she acknowledges, but strives to provide detailed instructions on parking and entrance location when I called and made an appointment. Overall, I would definitely go back since the deals Vessia offers are competitive. I would absolutely request her personally, though!

I bought the 3 packages on Groupon. I haven't even been yet and I don't really want to go! They NEVER answer the phone, and when I finally got someone she was SO rude!!!! Difficult about the scheduling I'm sure because they'd rather take customers paying full retail instead of the groupon deal. I wish I could just get my $ back, I don't want to go there. I seriously think all these good reviews are from the place itself, because prior to my purchase there wasn't a good review in sight :-/

I have to say that this was one of the most relaxing 2 hours ive had in such a long time. Vissia and her staff are wonderful, friend, kind, informative they really know how to make you feel at home. Me and my husband were given groupons for our anniversary for the pampering spa package this was such a treat we enjoyed every minute of it. My husband was alittle hesitant at first about getting a facial treatment which was one of the services included in the package but once we walked out of the room he was already getting information about having a spa day with our other friends. Thanks you so much guys for making our day special!! We will be back soon.

She was friendly and professional and a Wonderful therapist she worked out all of my stress. The waiting area was warm and welcoming. She had coffee, tea, or hot chocolate to make you feel at home. I will definitely be going back!

me and my boyfriend received gift certificates for Christmas for Swedish massage. the therapist as the most warm, firm, Amazing hands that have ever massaged me. Vissia is an AWESOME masseuse. One of the best massages I've ever had. I liked the ambiance of the rooms, the peacock decals are pretty. You are thorough and the table was very warm and comfortable. I'm looking forward to my next massage!

OMG!!! My massage was amazing... I had such tension and stress living in my back and left there a rejuvenated soul!!! My reception was very welcoming and there were a variety of teas which I enjoyed. Tranquil music and relaxing aromas set the atmosphere for what was to be...the best massage I have ever received. The therapist was very pleasant and provided a nice selection of scents to choose from. Then she began.... I've had my share of massages and the way she worked my shoulders and scapula (my particular problem areas lol) I felt each muscle coming back to life! It was simply amazing!!! Best of all... A Pampering Knead is so reasonably priced that I can treat myself more often.. I am definitely returning. The place itself is also super cute. It's not impersonal. The reception area and massage rooms have a warm and relaxing feel and are very zen. It's also in a great location with easy parking... I highly recommend this spa!!!

Everything about A Pampering Knead was absolutely wonderful. You have the choice of scents used and the massage table is soothingly heated. After a massage, it would be impossible not to be in a better mood and ridiculously relaxed. Definitely the number one place to go.

I was experiencing extreme neck and shoulder pain and searched for years to find someone who could relieve my pain. One massage at A Pampering Knead did the trick! The massage therapist was phenomenal! The facility is in a hair salon and was very easy to find. The ladies in the salon were very sweet and led me right to the spiral staircase that lead to the massage area. The massage therapist greeted me, offered complimentary tea, and was very warm and welcoming. The massage rooms were clean, neat, and provided just the right amount of serenity. This massage experience left me relaxed and rejuvenated. It was such an amazing experience that I have returned as a regular monthly customer. I would highly recommend making an appointment here!

I was looking for a massage nearby and saw a deal on SpaFinder offered by A Pampering Knead. I don't remember exactly what it was, but it was an introductory rate that seemed like a great deal. When I got there, my first impression was confusion. I was instructed park in the back and go through the back door (not through the salon upstairs). I'm guessing that some kids live upstairs, because I had to move a bicycle that was left blocking the door. After meeting the lovely therapist and drinking some complimentary tea, I was shown the room. It was neat and clean, but oh my it was tiny. Even laying on the massage table I felt really closed in (and I"m not typically claustrophobic). The massage itself was just ok. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't memorable either. I wish I could identify why, but unfortunately I can't. The pressure was precisely what I was looking for, but the massage still fell short.
