  Located in the coastal artist’s village of Deia along the northwestern crest of Mallorca, the Mediterranean-style La Residencia is based inside two 16th and 17th century manor houses, enveloped by verdant gardens and olive and citrus groves. Guests can carve out recreational time to revitalize, from matches on the tennis courts to hiking in the surrounding hills to swimming in the nearby cove, a variety of which are set against the backdrop of the beautiful Tramuntana Mountains. Spectacular village vistas can be seen from the 1,500-square-meter spa.

  Dining options include the elegant El Olivo restaurant, situated inside a restored olive press, and guest rooms and suites, designed in a style reminiscent of the region, provide a calming sanctuary after a day of activities.

The award-winning La Residencia Spa, styled in traditional Mallorcan architecture with indigenous yellow stone and wood accents, is an idyllic haven of harmony overlooking the village of Deia. Inside the spa, guests will find six treatment rooms, three of which offer outdoor massage areas, along with an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym.

Guests can select from an extensive menu of offerings, from anti-aging and hydrating facials to hot stone massage to nail care and reflexology to olive, citrus and honey scrubs; spa-goers may also opt to relax with the signature Citrus Siesta and Olive Activator, a combination of a full-body scrub and Zen massage. Day spa packages, along with three-, five- and seven-night beauty and wellness breaks, can also be arranged.

A children’s spa menu is available during select summer weeks.

Lofty ceilings provide a spacious, airy feel, while stark white linens offset vibrant, original artwork and antique Mallorquin furnishings. All have TVs, DVD players, complimentary WiFi access and mp3 players. Select accommodations are appointed with four-poster beds, private terraces, balconies and plunge pools.

At the signature El Olivo restaurant, a stylish menu of local and international gourmet fare entices the palette, while a romantic setting, once the site of a 16th-century olive press and complemented by candlelight, adds to the ambience. The poolside Safereix is available for seafood specialties and cocktails. Diners can nosh on tapas, light meals and afternoon tea at Son Moragues Terrace & Bar.
