Rocket Yoga, also known as "The Rocket’’, is the original Power Yoga. Ashtanga is the original Vinyasa Flow. The Rocket is a style of yoga developed by Larry Schultz in San Francisco during the 1980’s. It is rooted in the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga practice. It is combined and restructured from the Primary and Intermediate Series as well as key postures from the 3rd and 4th advanced series of Ashtanga Yoga. Schultz''s yoga was first called "The Rocket" by Bob Weir of The Grateful Dead, because Weir said, "It gets you there faster." It is open for every level with modifications for beginners to learn and grow into the practice.

*This class is intended for people who are unfamiliar with the TRX, with less than 10 sessions under their belt.  Introduction to TRX is a 45 minute session that addresses the basic elements of TRX, like getting into correct positions, learning the adjustments, progressions and regressions of exercises, and basic postural positions.  It is recommended to take an Introduction class before moving on to the other TRX classes, to make them more effective, and enjoyable.
