Ahimsa on All Levels
Ahimsa is the philosophical foundation of yoga practice. Come and explore the concept of Ahimsa directly through your own experience. Himsa means violence or harming. A-himsa means non-violence. Mahatma Ghandi said “Truth is what the voice within tells you. Truth and nonviolence are perhaps the active forces you have in the world. Truth alone will endure; all the rest will be swept away before the tide of time.” Cultivating awareness, truth, is an important part of ahimsa. We will explore the concept of ahimsa in the different layers of ourselves - learning wise individual alignment for our bodies, connecting to our energy bodies with pranayama, becoming aware of our thoughts and emotions, creating space to open to our deepest knowing of what we need, laying the foundation to open to the world in a clear loving way. Recommended for all students at all levels of experi- ence. Strongly suggested for those considering YTT with Kim & Janne. $30 |
