Located in a peaceful courtyard, surrounded by a tropically landscaped pond filled with koi fish, the Pacific Waters Spa was built to resemble a turn-of-the-century Spanish estate. The 20,000-square-foot spa offers 17 treatment areas, three of them couple’s suites, and a full menu of services and treatments inspired by the earth and sea. Organic extracts from fruits to algae to seaweed enhance the spa’s Pacific Islands vibe. Before and after treatments, guests may lounge in the spa area that, in addition to the pond and its footbridge, includes lush gardens with private whirlpools nestled into secluded grottoes. Additional amenities include a sauna, steam room, waterfall showers and beauty salon. Fitness enthusiasts can use the 2,500-square-foot fitness center and benefit from the services of personal trainers.

- The John Wayne international Airport is a 15-minute drive away by car.
- Children as young as four are allowed in the salon area for treatments.
- Pets are welcome for a fee of $50 per night. A 50-pound weight limit applies, or guests can bring two pets that do not exceed 75 pounds.
- Up to 100,000 square feet of function space is available for events and meetings, including open-air courtyards and two ballrooms with views of the Pacific Ocean.

No trip to Southern California would be complete without a trip to the beach. The resort offers easy access to the famous, eight-and-a half-mile Huntington Beach via a pedestrian bridge. Once there, guests can grab a bite at the snack hut, jog along the many miles of sand or simply soak up some rays. The area is best known for surfing, with swells that may reach as high as eight to 10 feet, and the adventuresome can check out the several area surf schools that provide professional instruction. Eight miles of trails along the coastline are within easy access of the resort for hiking, biking and jogging.
Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach is within driving distance of many well-known attractions, including Disneyland, Universal Studios and the Bolsa Chica wetlands.

All rooms feature Spanish-style decor influenced by the southern Andalusia region and tones of rich red, gold and beige. The resort offers two restaurants, as well as two poolside cafés, in-room dining and Surf City Grocers, an island-style market.
