Imbued in sophisticated, relaxed charm, the spa has nine treatment rooms, each with its own private outdoor garden. The spa complex also houses a vitality pool cocooned by lush greenery, ice fountains, herbal steam baths, aromatherapy showers and a relaxation room with sound-wave lounge chairs.

Exclusive Auriga Spa services are guided by the region’s Malay and Chinese legacies and are deeply rooted in celestial rhythms designed to balance mind, body and spirit. Four signature treatments, one for each moon phase, are head-to-toe blends of massage, body scrub, wrap and facial that use Organic Pharmacy’s natural product line. Spa packages are also available.

Located next to Auriga Spa, the resort’s fitness center is open 24 hours and features Kinesis and Technogym equipment and personal training. Numerous outdoor recreational activities abound for exercise enthusiasts, with opportunities to play tennis on two lighted courts, take a dip in one of three swimming pools, play a round at the nearby Sentosa Golf Club, escape to the local beaches, and bicycle throughout Sentosa Island. Capella’s extensive offering of sightseeing tour selections by land or sea immerses guests in the varied culture and history of Singapore.

A total of nearly 25,000 square feet plays host to Capella’s indoor corporate meetings and social functions. Venues include Singapore’s first circular ballroom; architectural highlights of the room center around a glass-dome skylight and dramatic glass sculpture, as well as its expansive windows overlooking Sentosa Island’s verdant foliage. Capella, Singapore occupies 112 guest rooms, including 38 sea or garden villas with private plunge pools and outdoor bathing fixtures and nine spacious colonial-manors with fully equipped kitchens and mini lap pools. Modernly designed and tastefully appointed, accommodations are accented by fine art and Asian accents. Thoughtful details include LCD TVs, iPod docking stations, complimentary WiFi, in-room refreshments, daily newspapers and five-piece pressing services per stay.

Gastronomic delights include the elegant Cassia fine dining restaurant, where guests will savor contemporary Chinese cuisine that combines fresh, locally sourced ingredients and Cantonese techniques. Classic Mediterranean dishes, shared tapas and decadent homemade desserts are menu highlights at The Knolls; the restaurant also offers afternoon tea service, featuring 30-plus rare Chinese, English, Indian and Japanese varieties, and a Sunday buffet. After a meal, the island-inspired alfresco Bob’s Bar is a must-visit for refreshing tropical drinks, light bites and sunset views.
