Noelle Spa for Beauty and Wellness

I am a frequent "spa goer". Aside from the service itself I like to gain a full experience of a relaxation room. Their "wating/relation" room could be more comfortable with better seating. I felt like I was in a waiting room and wasn't able to be as comfortable as I'd like. They also didn't have tea or beverage service.

When I recently moved to Stamford I was searching for a spa for a great massage - I needed it from the move! Noelle was recommended to me and I figured I would give it a shot. The spa services are absolutely fantastic. You truly feel like a queen - they pamper you perfectly and only have conversations if you start the chit chat. The atmosphere is amazing. I have tried the massage, deep tissue massage, facial, manicure and pedicure. I have not yet been disappointed. The facials are amazing and very special. They cater to your every needs. When you pay for 60 minutes - they stay with you for almost the entire time. Unless they need to get something to assist with the care they are giving. The only thing I was slightly disappointed by was the haircut that I received. I felt that it was way over priced for the quality of the haircut I received. I would not return for that, as I felt that there are other places with more skill for less money close to the area. However, the spa services come highly recommended - my only suggestion is to relax and realize that you cannot rush when you come to the spa otherwise you will be upset. Also take advantage of the wonderful steam showers!!! Highly recommend the spa services!!!!

I have been to this spa several times. The massages have always been excellent and you feel whisked away from the moment you walk in. I have also enjoyed having my hair cut here, but that process was a little long for my patience. The only bad experience I have had at this spa was on a day that I was using a "Day of Beauty" gift I was disappointed by the ending. The last service of the day- a manicure was to be followed by a massage as my nails dried. The masseur came in the room and asked the lady next to me if she wanted a massage. Another person never came in. When I checked out, I asked about it at reception and they said, but they came int he room and gave a massage- come to find out the other patron did not have that as part of her service but received instead of me. The only thing the receptionist said was - sorry- maybe you should have spoken up. I thought that was very rude- there was no way I could have known the other patron was not also expecting a massage. The masseur should have asked for the patron they were to service by name. Again, dreamy place- but if you have booked services- make sure you get them.

I have gone to Noelle for years I have had facials, color, my hair cut all with expertise.

I have been getting facials for many years but I have never received a facial quite like the one I received at noelle spa in stamford. The woman who gave my my facial, Jillian, spoke with me at length about my skin concerns, offered up some very helpful suggestions and then proceeded to give me the most amazing facial ever! She not only thoroughly cared for my skin but she also massaged my feet, hands, arms, neck and shoulders, and face until I drifted off into a state of bliss. I left feeling refreshed and completely impressed. I would advise everyone to try her facial.....

Paid way too much for a color and was given two choices. A) leave with wet hair B) Blow dry it myself. The whole thing was cheap and tacky. Most of the employees do not have any class and the salon doesn't either.

Every few years, I try a visit to this spa because it is so close to my house. And every few years I say I will never come back. Whether I've had a pedicure, a facial or a massage, I've found them all to be totally mediocre at best. If you're in the area, head on over to Aetheria Spa in New Canaan instead for a real spa experience.

Any spa treatment I have ever had at Noelle has been wonderful. You just cannot go wrong!

I have been going to this salon for years - and will continue to go. On occasion I have used the spa. My experiences at the spa have been OK. The facility is very nice. Sometimes the staff isn't that nice. However, for a local spa and to get a massage or facial I think it's OK.

When I walked in, the atmosphere was very calm & quiet in the salon, it was 9 AM & then I was taken back to the spa & if possible it became even more quiet & relaxing. I had one of the best facials of my life (I'm a spa girl) by a very sweet & informative woman named Bailey (I've already rebooked for next month) Then I moved on to an amazing massage where all of the kinks I had accumulated after being on crutches for an extended time were worked out by the very firm hand of a master masseur. Next it was a mani/pedi which was just OK, the manacurist was very personable but the service was kind of weak for the price. Lastly I was scheduled for a haircut. There was a bit of a wait before the haircut that put me over my spa time limit but it was worth it, the haircut is very good! While I was waiting I watched the action in the salon, it was a bit of a shock after being in the spa all day, the music was a little too loud. The girl who washed my hair was really nice but a little to rough, a little too much pulling & squeezing of the hair. My haircut was done by a very pleasant & really informative stylist. Overall a great experience that I would reccomend to a friend :)

I have been going to Noelle for years and for some reason the last few times it felt so impersonal when you walk in the door. The girls in the front treat you like an assembly line. Once you get in the back where the spa services are, it's a whole different world. It's quiet and tranquil. The variety of services are incredible. I would recommend this place for locals and i would certainly go back.

Very disappointed, but then again knew that it was a hair and nail salon before I booked a facial...I wish I had tried someone else! The only reason a "spa" would have nail and hair facilities is to make more money...period. A spa is supposed to give you tranquility and certainly not add to your chemical overload! First of all, I tried 3 times to get someone on the telephone to ask them about products, and even left my name and number...no call! When I repeatedly called and finally got through, there was no apology at all from the woman that picked up. The front entrance takes you right into the heart of the salon...noise, chemical smells...not an auspicious beginning for a "spa" treatment. Thankfully the treatment was away from all of this, but why they didn't plan a separate entrance is a mystery. The treatment was average at best, and I was pushed to purchase products. Cannot recommend this, and don't understand the good reviews!

I have experienced many very high end destination spas, and have to say that Noelle as a day spa comes out the clear winner. The only improvement would be if they had a hotel attached so I didn't have to drive home and fall right back into my daily life. The staff were very professional, welcoming, and I was able to enjoy a very relaxing day with a few extra services thrown in for free. I must say that I look forward to getting spa finder gift certificates for my birthday and christmas every year so I can book a day full of services here.

Despite the mundane location, this is my favorite local spa. Unlike most day spa's Noelle does not give you that "walk in" feeling. Once you enter the rear spa area (past the salon)you immediately get that "escape feeling" that, for me, is essential to a true spa experience. So best of both worlds: an extremely local and convienient location but you feeling that you are on vacation. Of course the staff and services is also excellent. I have been going here for over 10 years.

I have gone to Noelle's before and after its move on High Ridge Road. I have always found them to be uncomfortable-that is, I feel I am being judged by the employees. I think they ought to hand out numbers and just shout out when your turn comes...beautiful surroundings with a factory-like approach. Too big, too busy for me. When I spend the kind of money they ask for-I want excellent service and being pampered-not so there. Maybe they should have you apply for permission to go there.
