At Sparkling Hill Resort and Wellness Centre, guests come to embrace the chance for rejuvenation, revitalization and renewal. Carved into a granite rock face, with Lake Okanagan and the Monashee Mountains as its backdrop, the 152-room resort in Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, adjoins the Predator Ridge Golf Course. A European-inspired design esthetic incorporates more than 3.5-million crystals, valued at over $10 million, and floor-to-ceiling windows that provide the perfect opportunity for fresh air, natural light and splendid views.
Resort guests enjoy complimentary access to KurSpa’s exquisite amenities, including its seven unique aromatherapy sauna and steam rooms, indoor and outdoor saltwater pools, Kneipp water therapy circuit and fitness center; the highlight of the spa is its signature Cryotherapy Cold Sauna (-110° C), which is the first to be introduced in North America.

Abundant natural light, an airy, urban design and stunning views permeate the 40,000-square-foot KurSpa, which hosts such amenities as a Kneipp waterway, an indoor saltwater pool capped by a starry Swarovski crystal sky and an outdoor infinity pool, also sourced with saltwater used as a natural water treatment. There are 48 treatment rooms, along with seven inimitable Thermarium-designed aromatherapy sauna and steam rooms with experience showers; as well, the spa boasts North America’s first signature Cryotherapy Cold Sauna (-110° C).
An invitation to wellness and renewal for body, mind and soul, the spa offers more than 100 treatments using pure thermal water, Dead Sea salts, volcanic dust and essential oils sourced from plants and flowers. KurSpa also has a naturopathic physician on staff to provide health consultations and craft nutrition plans for guests participating in the spa's comprehensive detoxification program.

Travel Information
- The Kelowna International Airport is located 25 minutes from Sparkling Hill.
- The minimum spa age is 16.
- KurSpa’s staff recommends guests bring relevant medical records, X-rays and other documents if seeking medical treatments or meeting with the naturopathic physician.
- Pets weighing up to 25 pounds are permitted in select accommodations (based upon availability). A $25 fee per night applies.
- Sparkling Hill is a short drive from some of the region’s prime beaches, and the area boasts more than 80 golf courses and 120 wineries.
Facilities & Amenities
In tune with the resort’s wellness theme, a 68-square-meter fitness center stocked with Keiser equipment is available at KurSpa. Exercise aficionados have access to a wide range of exercise classes and amenities such as aqua jogging, meditation, yoga, core flexibility and personal training. Indoor and outdoor pools, complemented by a whirlpool that seats 30, also comprise part of the spa complex.
A myriad of outdoor activities are accessible year round at Sparkling Hill, with opportunities to fly fish, heli-ski, pole hike and invigorate with guided walks of more than seven miles (12 kilometers). Predator Ridge Golf Resort, located a couple minutes away, invites Sparkling Hill guests to cross-country ski and tee off at the 18-hole, Doug Carricks-designed course, or visitors can retreat to the nearby beaches and lakes of Kelowna and Vernon for sailing, water skiing and parasailing.

A floor-to-ceiling sliding window makes the most of sparkling lake, mountain and grassland vistas. Accommodation options include three penthouses with gas fireplaces and private steam and sauna areas. Complimentary with each stay are a full hot breakfast for two in the PeakFine restaurant, wireless Internet and valet parking.
The two on-site restaurants offer a fusion of European flavors and a unique ambience of modern, sleek design. PeakFine Restaurant can be frequented for fine dining and an ever-changing seasonal menu prepared with organic, local ingredients. For a more laidback vibe, Barrique & Java lounge offers a venue where diners can nosh on tapas and sip wine.
Guests participating in the KurSpa Cleanse Program can savor select dietary dishes at both eateries, or they can enjoy meals in the private Cleanse Room.
