The goal of “Crossflow” is to integrate the benefits of flexibility, balance and coordination that are typically found in a Vinyasa program, with the strength, endurance, speed and power emphasized in a metabolic conditioning (“metcon”) program, similar to those used in Crossfit studios.In this class, students will warm up with a 30 to 60 minute, lowly-heated Power flow session, followed by a particular benchmark “WOD” (Workout Of the Day). WODs are short and intense workouts (lasting between 5 – 15 minutes) that are repeated once every few months.
