Prenatal Yoga - 1st Sunday is Partner Workshop
Guided breathing, stretching and strengthening tailored for the needs and capabilities of pregnant women (NO PRIOR YOGA EXPERIENCE NECESSARY). Includes instruction on how to use yoga to ease pregnancy and childbirth. We advise expectant mothers to begin in their fourth month, after the first trimester is completed. We host a special Prenatal Partner class the first Sunday of the month from 11:30-12:45pm ($17 per person/ $34 per pair) in place of the regular class. Introduction to Qi Gong Workshop
Qi Gong means "energy work" and represents the intelligence underlying Tai Chi, which is a form of Qi Gong. Restorative Yoga - All Levels Welcome
Restorative yoga is a wonderful complement to active yoga practice, but stands alone as a proven therapy for chronic stress, high blood pressure, insomnia, trauma from past physical injuries, and other all-too-common ailments. Poses are designed to release deep-rooted tensions, often with the support of blankets and blocks, and do not require extreme flexibility or athleticism. Everyone can (and should!) practice restorative yoga as part of a healthy and vibrant lifestyle *If possible, bring warmer layers of clothing (including socks) as the body naturally cools when resting, and an eye pillow/cover or small hand towel. |

Yoga Basics - Levels 1 & 2
These classes are great for brand new beginners, continuing students seeking a slower pace and those with specific physical concerns, emphasizing postural alignment and basic breathing techniques. Standing, seated and inverted postures will be taught so they are accessible and beneficial to everyone. Sun salutations typical of flow style classes are generally not included. |

Vinyasa Flow - Level 2 & 3
Vinyasa Flow classes offer a more vigorous pace coupled with safe alignment, breath and continuity of awareness. Sequences vary by class and are inspired by our knowledgeable instructors. Level 2 and 2&3 classes assume students are familiar with sun salutations, breathing and feel comfortable taking child's pose as needed (: No brand new beginners please. |
