Free Spirit
Level 2/3. Expect this practice to be an invigorating exploration of self and of community. Each class will be an original sequencing influenced by and incorporating many styles of yoga: the heart opening spirituality of Anusara, the physicality of Ashtanga, and sometimes the careful precision of Iyengar and the breath-work of Kundalini. It may be playfully challenging to even experienced yogis. A current practice is recommended. |

Yin/Deep Stretch
All levels. It is accessible as an entry-level practice, yet it is also an excellent complement to an active yoga practice. Yin yoga targets deep connective tissue, focusing primarily on the hips, pelvis and lower spine. Although not complicated, it can be quite challenging due in part to the longer duration of the holds. This style of yoga increases flexibility of not only the physical body, but also of the mind, by encouraging deep introspection, contemplation, and a relaxed awareness. |

Kundalini
"Kundalini yoga classes are a dynamic blend of postures, pranayam, mantra, music and meditation, which teach you the art of relaxation, self-healing and elevation. Balancing body and mind enables you to experience the clarity and beauty of your soul. No previous experience in yoga is required for you to achieve results with your very first class. Men of great knowledge actually found out about the chakras – their workings, their petals, their sounds, their infinity, their co-relationship, their powers. They found that the life of a human is totally based on these chakras. This total science gave birth to Kundalini Yoga."Yogi Bhajan |

Sweet Release
A rigourous flow plus restorative deep strech equals a sweet release for mind and body. Be prepared for 30-45 minutes of vinyasa flow to warm and soften our external superficial layers. This warming is followed by restorative postures for 30-45 minutes meant to access the deep tissue layers. Kriya and Mantra will be sprinkled in occasionally to deepen the spiritual practice. Classes will have a rotating theme of focus (shoulders, hips, back, etc.). Classes will heated to around 85 degrees to help the warming process of the muscles and music will be hand selected to fit the flow of every class. Come with an open mind and be prepared to have you heart and body follow. |
