    Welcome to Indigo, your neighborhood Pilates & Yoga Studio. We are so proud of our uniquely beautiful, light-filled space. We offer private Pilates sessions on our state-of-the-art equipment, along with intimate yoga and movement classes where you’ll receive the individualized instruction that can be lost in large group environments.We’re located in Pleasant Hill at 2395 Pleasant Hill Road (x-street Gregory Lane) - a quick trip from Walnut Creek, Lafayette, downtown Pleasant Hill and Martinez. Parking is free. Signs will be up soon, but to find us just look for the blue door at the top of the stairs in back of the building! Jivamukti Yoga blends the physical, philosophical and spiritual aspects of Yoga practice. Created by Sharon Gannon and David Life in New York in 1984, the name Jivamukti is the fusion of two Sanskrit words, jivan (individual soul or person) and mukti (liberated, free). A jivanmukti is a person who is freed from the constraints of their body and mind...freed from suffering in this lifetime. Each class emphasizes the importance of practicing with an elevated intention and includes creative and safe vinyasa sequences with modifications for all levels (vinyasa = ordered placement of intention, breath and movement), meditation and inspiring (sometimes rocking!) music. Practitioners leave class feeling invigorated, open, uplifted and strong. Familiarity and comfort with basic asana practice is recommended.

Jivamukti Yoga/Vinyasa Flow

Jivamukti Yoga blends the physical, philosophical and spiritual aspects of Yoga practice. Created by Sharon Gannon and David Life in New York in 1984, the name Jivamukti is the fusion of two Sanskrit words, jivan (individual soul or person) and mukti (liberated, free). A jivanmukti is a person who is freed from the constraints of their body and mind...freed from suffering in this lifetime. Each class emphasizes the importance of practicing with an elevated intention and includes creative and safe vinyasa sequences with modifications for all levels (vinyasa = ordered placement of intention, breath and movement), meditation and inspiring (sometimes rocking!) music. Practitioners leave class feeling invigorated, open, uplifted and strong. Familiarity and comfort with basic asana practice is recommended.
