Housed in a handsome log cabin, the 2,500-square-foot Spa at Oak Haven offers a rustic, simple charm that immediately puts guests at ease. Seven treatment rooms, a sauna, relaxation area and soft music complement the serene allure of this mountainside sanctuary.

Spa services draw on classic therapies and include massage, facials, contour wraps, scrubs, Vichy shower treatments, manicures, pedicures and waxing. Signature staples include the Hot Shell Massage and the Ice Cream Pedicure, a scrumptious treatment that includes an ice cream sundae. The spa uses a range of well-known products, including Dermalogica, Clarisonic, OPI and Biotone.

Spa-goers ages 13 years and older are welcome to the spa; however, those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Guests staying at Oak Haven can squeeze in a workout at the 400-square foot fitness center, which comes outfitted in elliptical machines, abs equipment and recumbent bicycles. Not far from the exercise area are the resort’s two swimming pools, one of which is reserved for children (an on-site playground, basketball court and arcade are also sure to please families.) There are two miles of hiking trails for all levels, the nearby Little Pigeon River and Douglas Lake to fish, and meeting and wedding accommodations.

Oak Haven is a prime starting point for many of the region’s beloved attractions. The Dollywood Theme Park, Tanger Five Oaks Outlet Mall and Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokes are within 10 miles of the resort, and nature lovers will enjoy the Great Smoky National Park, also within close proximity. Recreational pastimes and sites like white-water rafting, go karting, the Bristol Motor Speedway and the Tennessee Smokies Baseball Stadium welcome sports fans and adventurists. A selection of golf courses are nearby, and day trips can be planned to popular landmarks like the Biltmore Home in Asheville, North Carolina, about two hours away.
