After a consultation with one of Elemental Embrace's Vaidyas (Ayurvedic doctors), treatment will be devised in accordance with Ayurvedic principles, which emphasize individual body constitution and holistic wellness. To restore balance to bodily energies, a guest's Vaidya may prescribe a four-handed herbal oil massage, an herbal steam bath, or one of a number of hand and foot treatments. Treatments are formulated to instill a sense of tranquility and well-being while strengthening and detoxifying the body.
Elemental Embrace's Ayurvedic spa packages are for guests with specific health needs or concerns. Five- and seven-night detoxification packages are available for a complete cleansing experience, including lymphatic drainage, steam treatments, relaxing spa services, and a health-food plan (either vegetarian or non-vegetarian). One component of these and several other packages is colon hydrotherapy, an infusion of warm water into the colon for cleansing purposes. The seven-night weight-loss package includes yoga and meditation classes, an exercise program, herbal supplements, and diet and lifestyle planning.
