Eshe Day Spa and Salon

I received a Spa Finder gift and chose Eshe because it was close to my South Loop home. I went on a Sunday afternoon. It was very quiet and I may have been the only customer at the time.The staff was very welcoming and I had a lovely, relaxing Swedish massage by Angela.

I liked this place for the atmosphere and warmth. A great find in IL.

I originally went to Eshe Day Spa in 2009 as a Valentine's gift to my husband. We were the last appointments of the day but you would never know it. Everyone greeted us as though we were the first customers of the day and they did not rush through the services. I then surprised my husband in February 2010 with a spa day for his birthday and he came home stating that the message was the best that he has ever experienced. We are well traveled individuals and always go to the spa whenever we travel so this spoke volumes. I can not wait to book my next spa day at the new location.

A friend and I visited for facials, massage, manicures, and lunch. The overall atmosphere was relaxing - nice decor, quiet and soothing, delicious cucumber water. The facials and manicures were fantastic, and the massage was pretty good as well.Even though we were very satisfied with the services, it was the final touches and small details that left a bad taste in our mouths. First of all, we arrived exactly on time, but they complained that we were late even though we were not told to come early when we booked the appointment. So, since changing time is NOT built into the overall appointment times, the spa did not allow us to eat the lunch that was supposed to be included in our package. Then, when we were checking out, the receptionist was rude (not even a hint of a smile on her face) and took a really long time to check us out.Although the services at Eshe were very nice, the service left much to be desired.

I had a good experience at Eshe, but I wouldn't say it took me away from the buys work world I am used to in the loop.

I don't visit spas THAT often however enough to know what I like. I like this place. It is downtown, very close to shopping and great restaurants. The spa is welcoming, comfortable and the staff is accommodating.Melissa gave me the best facial! I don't usually do them because I am afraid it will irritate my skin. The products she used were of the highest quality and she used them expertly! She was very gentle -thanks!Maggie is the best. She applied the pressure perfectly and constantly made sure I was comfortable. Maggie was concerned about my "problem areas" and I walked out a different person!Nilda gave me the best manicure I ever had! My hands and nails have never looked better! I almost hate to wear gloves!I highly recommend this spa because their packages are such a good value! We had a wonderful lunch, exceptional service and were constantly looked after. I can't wait to return once we're back in Chicago!

In a time like this every dollar that I spend now is important to me. Spas have been a great source of relaxation and stress relief for me. I came to Eshe really stressed from work and really needed some me time and I got it from the time I walked in someone was looking after me (Thank You!) I was greeted immediately, offered something to drink and went in to the relaxation area to begin my experience, I had a facial with Melissa and I must say it was one of the best I have ever had and the extras were fab. like the foot soak before and the warm towel thing she did during the facial. I thought the place was beautiful and very nice I will visit regularly because I like being treated well.

My husband and I went for couples massages while staying downtown for date night. The overall experience was pretty good. The couple room was a little cramped and chilly but the massages were good. Would go back and would recommend to others.

I just want to personally thank Audrey and her staff for helping create a wonderful memory for my friends and I. I found Eshe Day Spa via SpaFinder and what a great choice I made. Eshe Day Spa's environment is relaxing, inviting and comforting. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. Service is top notch. I will definitely visit Audrey and her staff during my next visit to Chicago and I suggest you do the same.

I came in to Chicago to visit my family for the weekend and decided to take a little time away for myself I heard about Eshe from another family member that had been there and loved it. I must say that I totally agree with her. I had the most painless wax service that I have ever had (no double dipping here) and the facial (Anti-aging) really made my skin glow! And I really enjoyed having people wait on me with a smile. Overall I had the best experience with a wonderful group of people and a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere.
