  Maffeo Salon and Day Spa is located in a heritage home in downtown Nanaimo, which was once the home of former mayor Pete Maffeo. The historical home has been renovated into a full-service salon which features a waiting area, a full cappuccino bar, and a large selection of herbal teas and spring water. The stylists undergo weekly training programs in order to keep up with fashion trends and to ensure clients get their needs met. Spa services include massage, couple's massage, waxing, manicures and pedicures, shellac nails, gel nails, toe nail reconstruction, lash/brow tinting, makeup application, mineral mud body wraps, facials, and back facials. Salon services include haircuts, aromatherapy scalp massage, highlights/lowlights, full-color, dimensional color, deep conditioning treatments, high gloss treatments, and bridal and prom updos. Bridal packages are available.
