The spa menu is just as distinctive as the hotel, with both alternative treatments (Indian head massage, shiatsu, and reflexology) and also traditional spa services (a sea-salt exfoliation, an aromatherapy massage, and a rose renewal facial). The 10,000-square-foot spa also offers a central relaxation lounge and private relaxation suites.
The 24-hour gym is equipped with ultra-modern workout equipment. Personal trainers are on hand, and yoga and other fitness classes are held in the gym or, on nice days, in the garden.

Guest rooms don't have interior walls. (The bathroom and dressing room are encased in a glowing, floor-to-ceiling glass box that is wrapped in layers of sheer curtains.) Some of the rooms feature private gardens.
The luxurious Penthouse and Apartment suites, each with its own private elevator, both have two bedrooms with silver-leaf sleigh beds and large plasma screen televisions and a painting by 15th-century Italian artist Filippino Lippi.
Spoon, the hotel's restaurant, has a "mix and match" menu, meaning diners can choose their meals according to their nutritional priorities, whether they be to have a healthful, spa lunch or a more decadent gourmet dinner. The Sanderson also has a billiard room and two bars--Long bar, which features an 80-foot long bar, and the more intimate Purple bar, decorated in purples, violets, and lavenders.

The Billiard Room has a low-key vibe with an antique silver-leafed billiard table, whimsical, lodge-like antler furniture, and original 50's stained glass designed by John Piper, one of the most noted British artists of the 20th century.
Children are also welcome at the hotel, which has an extensive video library, many board games, and video game units. Babysitting is available through the concierge.
Outside the Sanderson, guests can wander London's West End, famed for its off-beat shopping, dining, and nightlife. Leicester Square, Covent Garden, and the business and fashion districts are all within walking distance.
