The Common Man Inn was converted from a run-down paper mill to a serene, well-appointed getaway destination. The Inn's full-service day spa has seven treatment rooms, a lobby with an original brick fireplace, and an array of relaxation areas. The spa's signature White Birch Herbal Wrap consists of a ten-minute sauna session followed by a warm wrap of herb-infused sheets meant to promote detoxification and restore balance. Next, guests experience a relaxing herbal-oil massage in a special candlelit room. Other treatments on the menu include hydrotherapy and a variety of hot-stone therapies.Location

This is a wonderful place in central New Hampshire...
in between your treatments you can use the rest of the facilities, pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and hot tub! What an amazing whole body experience!

I'm a bit of a spa addict, so I'm pretty fussy about such things as atmosphere, uniqueness of services, staff, etc.
I had a very, very good experience here. A lovely, relaxing atmosphere, with nice amenities. Very surprising to find this located where it is!
I had a Raindrops Massage. It was great, and reasonably priced.

Great values, I had a wonderful time each time I have gone here. They have a staff of expert massage therapists, and every visit was great. A truly fantastic spa experience. This is the spa which I compare all of the others to.
If it seems a little far to get there, call ahead and book a night in the Inn. I am sure you'll love it as much as we do.

This was the most relaxing day I can remember ever having. This Spa is by far my most favorite experience I had while on vacation to New Hamposhire. I plan on visiting at least once a year while we vacation in New England.

A friend and I had not ever experienced a spa ever, it was one of the best most pampered eperiences I ever had and I know that she felt the same way. 'after the birchteatree wrap I felt so relaxed the rest of the night was so much fun and laid back. I am ready to go back for more pampering. I am hoping to get my gentleman friend to join me. He is getting a package for christmas. It was fabulous when we went and she and I kept saying we would go back. We will never make it but I would love for my gentleman friend to come with me. It will make a wonderful Christmas gift, hoping to see your facility soon. Could you send me in the direction on cost of the spa and cost of the rooms. Who would have thought that this quaint little inn bearing the name of one of New Hampshire's more popular restaurants would have a 5 star spa! Every year three friends and I would go away for a spa day. We tried the Common Man one year and decided to stay overnight. It's our favorite weekend every year. We've moved up to staying 2 nights now because there's so much to do in the area and we need one full day at the spa of course. The spa staff know us by name now and treat everyone with courtesy and are very helpful. While there are products for sale, the staff is not pushy about buying them - they only suggest what you should have in your checkout basket.
It's a wonderful experience whether you're going with your gal pals or a romantic weekend away. They have a variety of packages as well including a golf package to keep the hubbies entertained while you're at the spa!
Highly recommended and enjoyable.
