Spa Tranquility celebrates mind and body through an array of restorative, exotic treatments, including pineapple and papaya tropical wraps, caviar and pearl facials, salt glows, Sabai stone and Thai yoga massages and more. Beauty services are also available, and can be enjoyed in the full-service hair salon. Prior to treatments, guests can sip a cup of herbal tea in the relaxation lounge or unwind in the sauna.

Private bathrooms and showers are thoughtfully appointed in each of the three massage rooms, and natural details like rattan, sea grass and elegant wood help capture the spa’s calming vibe. The Verandah encourages playtime, with an extensive menu of outdoor pursuits. Two tennis courts, hiking trails, miniature golf and three swimming pools are available on the grounds, while the surf welcomes guests to Hobie Cat sail, kayak, snorkel, wind surf and fish; snorkeling and scuba diving are available off site. Indoor activities include the 1,000-square-foot Cybex-equipped fitness center and the Kids Club: The “hideout,” for children ages 4-11, features an underwater design aesthetic, climbing adventure and an outdoor play area.

Stretches of beach, terraces and scented gardens provide breathtaking venues with a glamorous touch for weddings. Business groups can enjoy conference space accommodating up to 150.

While staying on the resort property may be enticing, the surrounding area also offers its own temptations. In Antigua’s historic district, travelers will find the impressive English Harbour, the site of a restored British naval station, and visitors can walk through the Museum of Antigua and Barbuda. On the shoreline of Indian Town Point sits Devil’s Bridge National Park, with its natural limestone arch that remains a popular sightseeing spot. Guests may also visit Shirley Heights, which offers some of the best views of the harbor and Antigua.

Guests sleep soundly in garden or water view rooms and suites, which are decorated in charming Caribbean-style decor, accented by white-washed trim, vibrant emerald-green and apricot hues and touches of bamboo and rattan. Rooms are filled with all the essentials of home, including a mini fridge, microwave, flat-screen, satellite TV and deep soaking tub. Each feature a private verandah.

The resort’s signature, open-air Seabreeze restaurant features à la carte dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with themed buffet evenings. Fine dining gastronomy emphasizing Caribbean flavors is served at the resort’s Nicole’s, an island-inspired eatery styled in warm red walls, wood trim and rattan and bamboo furniture. More casual venues include the family friendly Buccaneer and the Beach Bar & Grill, both of which offer light bites.
