Vipassana, or insight meditation, is the ultimate expression of Socrates' dictum, "know thyself." It's based on the Buddha's original teaching that the cause of suffering can actually be erased when we see our true nature. This teaching means that our happiness does not depend on manipulating the external world, it depends on seeing ourselves clearly, as we really are. Power Yoga

Power Yoga is a fast paced and invigorating and is certainly a "get-in-shape" class.  It's instructed in the Vinyasa style and is a fully balanced class which includes asana warm-ups, setting of intention, sun salutations, standing poses, backbends, forward bends, twists, inversions, meditation and relaxation. The teacher focuses on keeping the pace moving and instructing on the asana more than the other 7 limbs of the yoga practice.
