Dansk Day Spa at Occoquan

I had an outstanding time today. I left relaxed and very happy. Carissa was very attentive and recommended stretches and future appointments. Donna was very kind and attentive as well. She checked on future appointments for me and took very good care of me. I left rejuvenated and refreshed.

Lovely as always. Carissa is great, her service is great.

Had my first facial - the signature le grande with Lori on Saturday and it was fantastic! She made it all about me and it was the epitome of relaxing! Can't wait to go back for other treatments!

I received SpaFinder gift certificates from a client and decided to use them at Dansk after reading the reviews in here. I was impressed with the good reviews, but even more impressed that the owner took the time to respond to the poor reviews (which were pretty weak, in my opinion).I scheduled a deep tissue massage and the entire experience did not disappoint. I was greeted with kindness and the pampering began when I walked in the door just from the reception!I filled out a client info sheet that enabled me to write down my areas of concern, as well as preferences for the massage (talking vs no talking, aromatherapy choices, etc).My massage therapist, Carissa, was friendly, knowledgable, and strong! My hip flexors are a problem area and she not only worked on them really well, she also gave me stretches and yoga poses to do on my own to help continue the work she did. She also focused on some really tight areas in my neck and shoulders.I was stuffy after being on my stomach, and fell in love with flipping back over and having hot, peppermint-infused towels wrapped around my face to drain my sinuses. Wonderful!I will return and definitely try other services as well--if that massage was any indication, I'm in for a treat!

Really a wonderful and tranquil spa. Service is over the top and leaves you completely relaxed. This was a wonderful experience. One that I would like to do again.

My visit on Friday was wonderful, everything an afternoon at the spa is supposed to be. I treated myself to The Rejuvenation package and I have to tell you, it is appropriately named. I felt wonderful when I left. Lori and Monica were just great! I must say that I especially enjoyed the facial. I have very dry skin and Lori took particular care in hydrating it. I came to the spa about an hour after a very sweaty workout so my skin was particularly dehydrated. In the past when I've had facials at other spas, the effects of the facial only last until the next time I wash my face. But today my skin is still as hydrated, soft and supple as it was when I left the spa Friday afternoon. As a matter of fact, yesterday a co-worker (male!) asked about my glowing skin. You've earned a customer for life. Thanks again!

I received a SpaFinders gift card from a friend and found Dansk Day Spa through the website. I knew I wanted a massage but wasn't sure which one, so over the phone I was asked questions by the staff member to find out what I was looking for, my past massage experience, etc. She suggested a therapeutic massage as it is a good combination of deep tissue and relaxation - it was the perfect choice. My massage was great, the staff was polite and asked questions to customize my experience there, and within a week, I've already received a handwritten correspondence thanking me for coming and a coupon to come back for other services. I definitely will be using them again.

i am dansk day spa customer since last year and seen one of the review about her certificate well i don't know bout that but the comment about the staff i think this ain't fair for them coz i thought they all good and very nice to the customer i won't comin back to this spa if i am not receiving a good service... anyway just got back from jamaica and before my vacation i went to dansk and had my hair waxing the service was good and i enjoyed it so much now i am coming back there to have my tanning to keep my tan color from jamaica.... dansk spa!!!! you the best!!!!! good service and everything!!!!

I recently went to this spa with a group of my friends. The service was great. The called several times, and were patient through many versions of who wanted what. For my services, I did the full spa package. I would strongly recommend the massage. For me it was the best part. Having never had a facial, Im not sure how I would rate this one. The mani-pedi was good, not exceptional. However, as I said before the massage was GREAT!!! I will definetly be booking more.
