About Yoga Collective
The Yoga Collective is a community bound together by a love of yoga. We offer affordable classes, a student benefits program and a nurturing, inclusive hOMe in the city of Houston. Our mission is to challenge and inspire you. While every teacher has her or his own approach, all classes will explore the breath (pranayama), postures (asanas) to strengthen and stretch the body, and meditation. Classes end with several minutes of relaxation time. You’ll leave feeling more alive, present and healthy!

This style of yoga develops and maintains suppleness in the muscles as well as the joints, increases strength and vitality in all systems of the body, cultivates sensitivity to, and a re-balances and refines the energy body. Yin Yoga is a quiet, deep practice where the postures are held for 3-5 minutes. Postures range from passive to mildly active with a focus on the connective tissues of the hips, thighs, pelvis and lower spine. |

Prenatal Yoga prepares your body and mind for the journey of labor and upcoming motherhood while relieving many of the discomforts of pregnancy. Strengthen and relax your body, ease your mind and connect with a supportive community of moms-to-be. Yoga poses are modified for pregnancy and combined with appropriate breath work.
