    Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa hopes to provide clients with a spa that's a welcome escape from the outside world. The spa has a clean, simple design and invites both men and women to sample treatments. Massage modalities include therapeutic, cold stone face, couple's, foot and prenatal. The spa's signature hot stone massage incorporates river stones with massage strokes to sooth tired aching muscles. Facial services include, but are not limited to signature, men's, teen, anti-aging and back treatments which are tailored to every individual based on the client's skin care needs.

Not what I expected

The salon is very nice and the staff is very friendly. I went in expecting it to be an amazing experience due to the cost. I ordered a swedish massage with an extra half hour an da hot towel foot massage. I was told I couldn't do anything else (facials, etc) because my masseuse, Lisa, wasn't trained for them. The back is much bigger then I expected it to be. She asked me if I was experiencing any pain and I told her my lower back due to my job. The massage was relaxing, but it did nothing for my pain. It definitely seems like they're told what to do and to not vary. :/ I woke up this morning and was still hurting. I could feel even more "crunchies" in my back then when I went in and I didn't even work last night! I would've rather spent that money and gone to my regular masseuse and given her a bigger tip for helping. I'd recommend this place if you just need time to relax, but not for anything that actually need fixing.

I saw that Hand and Stone Massage opened close to my house and thought I would give it a try. I went in for a massage and facial. I feel very relaxed. The service was wonderful. I plan on going back.
