Beginner Flow
When you step onto your mat, you will be guided through breath awareness and connection with your body. The physical postures and sequence will be similar to a Vinyasa flow but slowed down. Using a harmonious and playful sequence, which will unfold and open your body to allow the free flow of energy, the instructor will challenge you to push yourself to your limit with mindfulness and understanding; a true yogi’s wisdom is to know its limitations and embrace what gifts are given to you from asana to asana. Increasing the heat in your muscles, expanding your lung capacity and raising your heart rate, this sequence will eventually wind down to give you the opportunity to find concentration and meditation. |

Vinyasa Flow
Vinyasa is a free -flowing style of yoga. Each instructor brings their own distinct style and sequence into their instruction. Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement”, so the postures are timed with the breath. Vinyasa is fluid; each posture flows into the next, linked together with a series of movements also called a “Vinyasa” (plank, low plank, upward-facing dog, downward-facing dog). The beauty of this class is that the sequence, or “flow”, can be different in each class, even with the same teacher. The instructor can focus on different areas of the body from day to day, or modify instruction depending on the demographics of her class. Vinyasa is appropriate for all levels. *Some classes are heated to 80-85' |

Stretch & Tone
This class is for anyone who wants to increase flexibility, balance, strength and self-awareness. A major difference between "just stretching" and yoga is the union of mind and body in movement, and the awareness of breath in the yoga postures. Exploring the foundation of yoga positions, this class will enrich a personal experience of movement, sensation, and meditation. By heightening an awareness of the body and relaxing into the sensations of holding a yoga pose, the mind can quiet, confidence can increase, and strength can grow. This class is designed for all levels wishing to broaden and deepen their practice |

Yin Yoga & Flow
This lusciously slow and meditative practice is the yogic prescription for chronic tension, feelings of overwhelm, long term physical imbalance, and/or exhaustion. It is the perfect complement to more vigorous yoga styles, and a great balancer for high-stress living. Through the elegant combination of appropriate asana and gentle timing, Yin Yoga deeply stretches and nourishes the joints of the body, helping to generate much greater flexibility and core-level relaxation. Yin Yoga is not boring -- the poses and cues will challenge and inspire you -- and the relaxation is mindful and deep. The practice is designed to bring your Central Nervous System into "Rest, Digest and Restore" mode, where healing work at the cellular level can occur—like digestion, muscle repair, scar tissue production, organ detoxification and emotional processing. Think of it as an efficient way to catch up on all that sleep you missed over the years! Yin yoga sequences are often linked to Meridian theory |
