The on-site Les Bains de Lea Spa Nuxe is a reflection of Bordeaux and the 128-room hotel’s glorious architectural style: The spa’s façade is reminiscent of the neighboring theater, both of which were designed by architect Victor Louis; the spa’s interiors, along with the 19th century-inspired guest rooms, were the creation of designer Jacques Garcia. Les Bains de Lea Spa, tapping into the concept of Roman baths, entices with a hammam, fitness center and outdoor whirlpool-bar terrace overlooking city views.

With the Les Bains de Lea Spa Nuxe, designer Jacques Garcia has created a 1,000-square-meter space inspired by traditional Roman baths and the grandeur of antiquity. Luxurious interiors mingle deep red with gray hues and fuse rich velvet fabrics with wrought-iron, wood and leather accents to stimulate an intense, mysterious feel, offset by white veils, méridienne sofas and banquettes that create a slightly ethereal touch. Intricate mosaics, marble stone and stately columns add a touch of drama, while ample waves of natural light bring the outdoors in.

Les Bains de Lea spa occupies three levels; on the fifth floor, guests will find the Water Journey, complete with a hammam, sauna and jet-filled pool set under a glass roof. Amenities also include an ice grotto, cold shower, relaxation lounge, whirlpool and 10 treatment rooms, where guests indulge in treatments like the Olympe Massage, fashioned exclusively for this Bordeaux spa.
